CORNERSTONE HISTORY

Cornerstone began in 2006 in a living room in Franklin Township, New Jersey.  For a few years their nomadic status kept people asking where they were.  They met in a firehouse for a year, a community center, a VFW, a kitchen and Chapel at Malaga Camp, a backyard pavilion and several living rooms.

In 2016 we took ownership of a church on ten acres of land with an additional house we are renovating to be a Ministry Center. We are developing a ministry to disciple those in recovery and the families who experience this struggle.

Because our desire has been to follow an Acts 2:42 kind of focus, we worship joyfully, teach by rightly dividing the Word of truth and fellowship and pray as those who will one day share heaven together.  We seek to meet the needs of our community through proclaiming the good news of salvation by grace through faith and helping those in trying circumstances.

We are learning to minister together through our involvement in Franklin Township Community Day and responding to people who experience difficulty.

Each year we see people profess faith in Christ and follow Him through baptism.  Lives are being changed as people grow strong in their faith and relationships are being healed.  Our mission: To build strong followers of Jesus Christ, inspires all that we do.  You are welcome to be a part of that mission.

*In 2015 Cornerstone was accepted as a member church of Mission-Mid Atlantic.
